Beacon Wi-Fi announces the Beacon Wi-Fi FREE Network in conjunction with their many marina partners on the US east coast, changing the way Wi-Fi is utilized and perceived.  In 2008, Wi-Fi is no longer a “nice-to-have” subscription based service for those boaters who long for an Internet connection wherever they are.  It is now a necessary amenity, no different than electricity and cable T.V. at the dock, and boat owners have come to trust the security, speed and in-cabin coverage provided by the Beacon Wi-Fi Network.
