Wireless Company Acquires Selected Assets and Business Rights of
Industry Player to Expand Their Wireless Footprint in the Marina Market.

February 2003 – Beacon Wi-Fi Technologies, LLC, (Beacon Wi-Fi) provider of wireless high-speed access to the Internet, today announced that it acquired selected assets and business rights of Aqua Access, a provider of wireless high-speed internet access to the marina market.

“Acquisitions are one way of expanding the Beacon Wi-Fi wireless footprint in the marina market,” said Christopher Reitz, Co-founder of Beacon Wi-Fi, “Our goal remains to provide wireless service to many boat owners throughout the country for the 2003 season.”

All Aqua Access marina customers can immediately transfer their wireless contracts over to Beacon Wi-Fi. More than ever before, customers are realizing the importance of having high-speed wireless internet access at marinas and, more importantly, partnering with a reliable service provider such a Beacon Wi-Fi. “Having wireless internet access at my boat isn’t a want; it is a necessity,” said Phil Hester, a wireless customer at the Harborage Marina in St Petersburg, FL, “I am part of a global organization and we communicate mainly via e-mail. I cannot effectively do my job if I do not have internet access at my boat.”
