BEACON WI-FI ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT TEAM

Solidified Team Brings High-Speed Wireless Services to Marinas.

January 2003 – Beacon Wi-Fi Technologies, LLC, provider of wireless high-speed access to the Internet, today announced its newly formed management team. Led by Christopher J. Reitz and Russell R. Schmidt, former executives at Motorola and Melard Technologies, respectively, the Beacon Wi-Fi management team also includes two additional professionals from the wireless industry, Steven Conti, accounting and finance, and Melissa Student, marketing and public relations. Combined, the Beacon Wi-Fi team has decades of experience in wireless networks, wide scale installation and end user support of remote wireless systems.

Currently in the deployment phase, Beacon Wi-Fi represents a significant advance in the high-speed wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi) industry. Beacon Wi-Fi focuses on installing “hot spot” wireless networks, using 802.11b, Wi-Fi technology. Wi-Fi is the most popular wireless Internet access technology due to its inherent speed and reliability.

With over 35 combined years of wireless development, deployment, marketing and service in several service based markets, Reitz and Schmidt combine experience with boating passion to bring wireless services to marinas.
